Charlotte van Steenderen

Charlotte van Steenderen graduated from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in 2007 and started her career as an associate in the Corporate Litigation practice of Dutch lawfirm Houthoff Buruma. After 4,5 years she joined Van Steenderen Mainportlawyers. She is assisting clients in dry shipping and transportation work. Her special focus lies with Shipbuilding & Conversion, Superyachts, sale and purchase transactions and arrest and attachment proceedings.

Charlotte is co-author of “Getting the Deal Through – Shipping”, “Getting the Deal Through – Shipbuilding” and “Getting the Deal Through – Ports & Terminals”, well-known international publications addressing relevant issues in a Q&A format.

Charlotte is a member of the Rotterdam Bar, the Dutch Transport Law Association (NVV), the Royal Dutch Society of Technicians in Shipping (KNVTS - Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging van Technici op Scheepvaartgebied), the Young Maritime Law Association (YMLA), the (Young) Ports Association ((Jong) Havenvereniging) and the International Bar Association (IBA).
